PRESS RELEASE: CAMBODIAN CULTURAL NIGHT AT UNIVERSITY OF THE PACIFIC'S BECHTEL INTERNATIONAL CENTER ON THURSDAY, MARCH 23, 2006 AT 6:00PM ; FREE ADMISSION

STOCKTON, CA – Cambodian Students Association (CSA) of University of the Pacific (Pacific) and Stockton Crossing Cultural Bridges (SCCB) cultural arts project cordially invite you to experience the vibrant culture of the Royal Kingdom of Cambodia at The First Annual Cambodian Cultural Night on March 23, 2006 at 6PM in Bechtel International Center on Pacific Campus.

This free event will feature APSARA Khmer traditional dancers, Cambodian traditional music, delicious Cambodian cuisine, guest speakers, and the showing of the SCCB documentary "To: Iloilo and Battambang," directed by Cambodian-American artist Sophoan Sorn, 21. SCCB celebrates cultural awareness and exchange. Funded by the 2005 Stockton Arts Commission Endowment for the Arts grant, Sorn's film commemorates the Stockton Sister Cities Association’s 2005 historic Goodwill Tour to Iloilo City, Philippines and Battambang, Cambodia.
